Another huge night this Friday merges the classic disco, chicago house and elements of hip-hop from Todd Terry’s decks and the Haçienda legend that is Graeme Park downstairs with the bass, tech house from Lempo and Japwow upstairs in Spektrum. Anyone who’s into dance music and hasn’t had their head in the sand for the past 20 years will know Graeme Park and Todd Terry will tear it up, so they don’t need an introduction. For those who know their house music, present and future, Lempo and Japwow are definitely a pair to see upstairs. Expect to hear our track of the month, the Lempo and Japwow remix of Funky Beat. “Get the builders booked… Spektrum is gonna need a new roof!”

The Applique Music’s 1st Birthday Summer Session
Celebrating the awesome music label’s first anniversary are a sweet line-up of DJ’s with tracks signed to the brand, consising of Lempo & Japwow, Jonathan Lee, Si’Ke DJs, Ben Clarke, Twenty12, Brodanse and Pedro. All will be playing some gorgeous house music in the stunning Spinningfields outdoor bar and best of all, it’s completely free!  DMM will be down, filming, taking photos and holding competitions so get down to The Yacht Club, enjoy a pint of their own Riviera beer and chill / dance with some of Manchester’s hottest musical talent.

We don’t need to extend our appreciation for Bitch nights any more than we already have. You can expect sexy house music, stunning vocals, floor shaking bass, beautiful people and a friendly atmosphere in the heart of Manchester city centre and this Saturday will be no different. With the ridiculously good headlining acts Kim Fai and Felix Leiter, you wouldn’t expect this night to be able to get any better. Add in the fact Bitch are launching their new music label, rumours flying about something called B3 (see @thisisb3) and more competitions / games from DMM and you can be assured this night will be a memorable one.
