Ninjury continue to surprise us musically!
Whenever we hear there is something new coming from Ninjury, we are always surprised by the results. The duo’s combined creative and technical talents with their diverse musical knowledge always brings something fresh to the table. Whether it be a techy, house classic, re-worked in Ninjury style or a jazzy, swing track brought into the 21st century.
This time around, we have two tracks to share. First, a “refix” of 187 Lockdown’s, “Gunman”. Hitting number 16 in the UK charts back in 1997, the original was a classic within the UK speed garage scene. Adding their own blend of bass, not trying to re-invent a classic but bring it to the forefront of underground music once again. If you like it, it’s a free download too!
Next from the duo, comes their remix of ”Home” by Kai & Kyle feat. Ashley Jana. With an uplifting tech-house vibe, simple but stunning vocals from Ashley Jana and Ninjury’s distinctive after-touch provides for an absolute cracker of a track. Available now on Beatport, with support from Capital FM and Kiss FM, this is one release that will be hugely popular in DJs libraries across the globe.
As the title says, Ninjury continue to surprise us. It’s not their ability that does so, we KNOW full well how talented and passionate the duo is about the music. It’s their variety, flexibility and ability to maintain this whilst keeping a unique, identifiable vibe within each track, whether it be a remix, bootleg, original production or a live performance. DMM has always and will always be behind the duo, we expect big things from them in the future. We cannot wait to seem them live at The Parklife Weekender, on June 8th / 9th at Heaton Park, Manchester as they were incredible at the Warehouse Project and Sankeys in recent times.
